Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental anatomy and be proficient in the use of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology and medical imaging techniques. This role involves diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, providing preventative care, and ensuring the highest standards of patient comfort and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive oral examinations to assess patients' dental health. Diagnose dental conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans. Perform a range of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, crowns, and root canals. Utilise CAD technology for designing dental restorations and prosthetics. Interpret medical imaging to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care strategies. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations. Stay updated with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Dentistry or equivalent qualification recognised by the General Dental Council (GDC). Proven experience as a Dentist is preferred but not mandatory for newly qualified candidates. Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, procedures, and technologies including CAD and medical imaging. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients. A compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on comfort and satisfaction. Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also demonstrating independence when required.
