The Northern Health & Social Care Trust is seeking an enthusiastic FY2 locum doctor to join its Oncology service within the Pathology department at Antrim Area Hospital, Bush Road, Antrim, Northern Ireland. This nine?week locum opportunity offers full?time exposure (8:00?am?4:00?pm) across all seven days, providing a unique chance to develop diagnostic expertise in a dynamic oncology setting.
The successful candidate will undertake FY2?level responsibilities, including the review and interpretation of pathological specimens, participation in multidisciplinary team meetings, and contribution to tumour board discussions. Core duties involve supporting senior pathologists with histopathology reporting, ensuring timely turnaround of results, and adhering to quality and safety standards.
