Locum Gp Surgery Dispenser
Job Description
We are working with a friendly GP Surgery in Spalding who are seeking an experienced Practice Dispenser to join their team on a long-term locum basis. This position is to start as soon as possible and is expected to run for an initial period of 3 months, with potential for extension.
You'll be supporting the practice dispensary team with the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of prescriptions to patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid general practice experience who enjoys working in a busy yet supportive environment.
The role includes:
Dispensing medication and managing repeat prescriptions Supporting the clinical team with prescription queries Maintaining accurate records and stock control Providing a high standard of service and care to patients
Requirements:
Experience working as a Dispenser in a GP Surgery setting Confident using EMIS clinical system NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Dispensing (preferred) Available to start immediately
