Locum Housing Litigation Lawyer - Full Time - Up to 50 per hour umbrella - Yorkshire
Venn Group's specialist Legal team are currently recruiting for a Locum Housing Litigation Lawyer to join an established Housing Association in Yorkshire, to have oversight of a mixed caseload.
The Role:
Position: Locum Housing Litigation Lawyer
Duration: Initial 3 months with the possibility for extension
Rate: Up to 50 per hour umbrella
Working Pattern: Full Time or Part Time
Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal supervision and oversight of a team of five, ensuring the legal accuracy, robustness, and procedural compliance of their ASB possession claims, injunctions, access injunctions, and litigated disrepair cases
Conduct technical reviews of draft pleadings, witness statements, evidence bundles, and correspondence to ensure compliance with legislation, case law, and pre-action protocols
Attend court to undertake advocacy for key or complex hearings, including possession hearings, injunction applications, and committal proceedings
Offer specialist legal advice to case officers and internal teams on complex ASB enforcement, tenancy issues, and disrepair litigation strategy

Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Solicitor with recent Public Sector or Housing Association experience
Strong evidenced experience within Housing Litigation
