About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced
Locum Personal Injury Solicitor
to join a busy and well-established legal team on a temporary basis. The role involves handling a varied caseload of personal injury matters, including road traffic accidents, workplace injuries, public liability claims, and more.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor with strong personal injury expertise to provide immediate support to a dynamic firm or legal department.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a caseload of
fast-track and multi-track personal injury claims
Advising clients on liability, quantum, and litigation risks Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements Negotiating settlements and representing clients in court if required Ensuring compliance withCPR, pre-action protocols
, and firm procedures Liaising with insurers, medical experts, and other stakeholdersRequirements:
Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (CILEX) with a
current practising certificate
Minimum2+ years PQE
in personal injury law (claimant or defendant experience considered) Strong knowledge ofRTA, EL/PL, and occupational disease claims
(desirable) Excellent communication, negotiation, and case management skills Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervisionJob Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
