We are seeking a dedicated and professional Pharmacist to join our healthcare team to work Monday and Tuesday on a regular basis and provide additional holiday cover as required
This position is suitable for a newly qualified pharmacist
The successful candidate will be responsible for covid and flu vaccinations, dispensing medications accurately, providing expert advice on medication use, and ensuring optimal patient care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your clinical skills within a dynamic healthcare environment with trained supporting staff and a second pharmacist if required
Responsibilities
Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with doctors' instructions and legal requirements
Provide comprehensive advice to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
Monitor patient medication therapies and adjust prescriptions as authorised by medical practitioners
Maintain precise records of prescriptions dispensed and inventory levels
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient treatment plans
Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and professional standards within the pharmacy setting
Educate patients on health and wellness topics related to medication management
Manage stock levels, order supplies, and oversee the safe storage of pharmaceuticals
Qualifications
Fully qualified Pharmacist registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or equivalent regulatory body
