Locum Pharmacist
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a background in pharmaceuticals and medicine, a high level of integrity, and strong customer service skills. The position is Monday to Friday with an option of 2 or 3 regular days. Candidates will focus on offering essential and advanced pharmaceutical services and assist in the management of the dispensary. Experience essential.
Responsibilities:
Be qualified to dispense medications to patients using knowledge of pharmacology.
Maintain professional knowledge and expertise in the field of pharmacy.
Up-to-date with health care technology and standards of practice within the community.
Provide information to patients about their medications.
Meet the needs of patients, including those with special needs.
Show respect for the privacy and cultural needs of the patient, as well as for their family and friends.
Use effective time-management to effectively meet the needs of patients and allow for provision of care to others in a timely manner.
Offer Advanced Pharmaceutical services including New Medicines service, blood pressure checks and Pharmacy first.
Successful candidate must be GPHC registered.
Job Type: Freelance
Pay: 25.00-28.00 per hour
