1. Job Summary



We are seeking a dedicated, adaptable and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess be able to create strong relationships between our existing patient's, healthcare professionals and our growing team. As a pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing expert advice to both patients and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities



Accurately check Medications whilst minimising errors

Safe Pharmacy practise and ensuring GPHC outcomes are met as per the superintendents' requirements

You will be required to ensure that the Pharmacy KPI's (Key performance Index) are met

Provide consultations to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.

To engage with the Services that the pharmacy provides

Collaborate with healthcare providers where needed

To promote, maintain and grow the reputation of the Pharmacy within the company

Monitor patient health outcomes and adjust medication regimens as necessary.

Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient interactions in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Educate patients about health management, disease prevention, and the importance of adherence to prescribed therapies.

Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and advancements in pharmaceutical care.

To ensure tasks are completed on time and deadlines are met

To be a key team member and to ensure that the team performs at their best

Ensuring all medication has been ordered, dispensed, checked and delivered out to patient's all in a timely manner

Operating the pharmacy as per the instructions given and adhering to the necessary standards

To ensure pharmacy logs, entries and paperwork kept up to date as required

Experience



A degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution is required in the UK

A valid GPHC registration number allowing you to practise as a Pharmacist in the UK

Previous experience as a pharmacist is preferred, particularly in a community setting.

Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare teams.

Good knowledge and confidence with speaking the English language

Pay: 22.00-26.00 per hour
