Locum Planning Lawyer - Part Time (15 hours per week) - Up to 60 per hour umbrella - Remote Working - Initial 3 months
Venn Group's specialist Legal team are currently recruiting for a Locum Planning Lawyer to join a Local Authority on an initial 3-month assignment, with the possibility for extension. The role offers remote working arrangements, and is an excellent opportunity for a Planning Lawyer to join a friendly Local Authority on a part-time basis.
The Role:
Position: Locum Planning Lawyer
Duration: Initial 3 months with the possibility for extension
Rate: Up to 60 per hour umbrella
Working Pattern: Part Time - 15 hours per week
Onsite Requirement: Ability to attend a monthly planning committee in the Midlands is desirable but not essential
Duties will include:

Supporting on Section 106 agreements with matters varying in complexity
Advise and support on enforcement matters

Draft and advise on Deeds of Variations and any other related matters

Supporting internal departments and stakeholders with planning law queries

Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive with recent local government or public sector experience
Strong working knowledge of planning law with a Local Authority setting

Ability to manage workloads flexibly within a part-time arrangement
