Job Summary:



We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced

Locum Specialty Registrar in Psychiatry

to support NHS Trust services across the UK. This role offers flexible working arrangements and opportunities to work within a range of psychiatry sub-specialties. The successful candidate will be responsible for the clinical management of patients with psychiatric conditions under the supervision of a Consultant Psychiatrist.

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of patients Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) Participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and handovers Manage acute psychiatric presentations and ongoing care needs Support junior medical staff and provide clinical leadership as required Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation Contribute to risk assessments and safeguarding processes Participate in on-call rotas (if applicable)

General Adult Psychiatry

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

Old Age Psychiatry

Liaison Psychiatry

Forensic Psychiatry

Addictions Psychiatry

Learning Disability Psychiatry

Perinatal Psychiatry

Community Psychiatry

Eating Disorders

Neuropsychiatry


Essential Requirements:



Full

GMC registration

with a licence to practise Minimum of 3 years' postgraduate medical experience, including psychiatry Experience at

ST4-ST6 level

or equivalent Section 12 approval and/or MRCPsych (desirable but not always required) Valid

Right to Work

in the UK Current

DBS clearance

(or willingness to obtain)
