Job Summary: We're seeking a skilled

Locum Veterinary Surgeon

to deliver high-quality surgical care in our fast-paced, collaborative practice. If you're passionate about animal health and enjoy working in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform surgical procedures on dogs, cats, and small animals Conduct pre-op evaluations and determine appropriate surgical plans Administer anesthesia and monitor patient safety during procedures Collaborate with veterinarians, techs, and assistants for full-spectrum care Maintain detailed and accurate surgical records Stay current with advances in veterinary surgical techniques Mentor and support staff on surgical best practices

Requirements:

DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school Valid veterinary license Proven surgical experience across a range of procedures Strong understanding of diagnostics and lab procedures Clear, empathetic communication with clients and team Calm, compassionate, and confident under pressure
