Select Retirement Service working on behalf of Burghley Retirement Living are recruiting for a Lodge Manager for a new luxury development , Alderman Lodge.

Alderman Lodge is a attractive new Retirement Living development, available exclusively to the over 55's, offering a stunning collection of 15 one-bedroom and 22 two-bedroom apartments for sale, alongside wonderful communal facilities including a communal lounge, and a hotel-style Guest Suite. Brighouse is a delight with a lively community atmosphere, great mix of shops, tempting eateries and fascinating architecture, mixed with some superb transport connections. No wonder this West Yorkshire market town is such a popular place to call home.

1. Maintain a high profile around the office/development ensuring residents are checked within our requirements. Ensuring a welcoming, friendly and courteous environment within the block

2. In the event of an emergency, call the appropriate response team or authorities. Experience of challenging/emergency situations and the ability to remain calm. Act as a good neighbour.

3. Carry out daily checks ensuring the building is safe and secure. Keeping all communal areas / garden grounds cleaned maintained through effective management of contractors. Good communication skills are essential.

4. Being responsible for all works being completed, raising works, managing contractors, monitoring progress and signing off upon completion.

5. Build and maintain links with local authorities, doctors, social workers and families. Proactive and self-motivation is critical.

6. Maintain records in line with internal procedures ensuring all data is protected and secure at all times. Exceptional organisation to manage the administration of the block. I.T literacy is required as both paper and digital data is recorded.

7. Advising Estate agents of the blocks facilities and making new residents feel comfortable to help settling in. Excellent customer service skills are a necessity. Address and resolve any issues or complaints to the customers complete satisfaction.

8. Health & Safety is paramount so experience of performing daily checks and accurately reporting to management.

9. Be able to work independently but also help/ support local peer group of managers.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 23,000.00 per year
