About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and skilled

Loft Insulation & Ventilation Technician

to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for installing loft insulation, fitting ventilation systems, and carrying out minor carpentry adjustments such as undercutting doors to meet ventilation and energy-efficiency requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Install loft insulation to required standards (e.g., mineral wool, roll insulation). Fit ventilation systems including soffit vents, tile vents, and passive ventilation units. Undercut internal doors where necessary to ensure proper airflow. Assess loft spaces for suitability, access, and ventilation requirements. Work safely in confined spaces, dusty environments, and at height. Maintain a clean working area and ensure all work meets quality and compliance standards. Communicate clearly with customers and provide professional service at all times. Complete job sheets, report issues, and follow company procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience in insulation installation, ventilation fitting, property maintenance, or similar trade preferred. Must have

own tools

suitable for insulation work, cutting doors, and basic ventilation installation. Full UK driving licence. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Comfortable working in lofts and tight spaces.
