Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and dependable Insulator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing insulation systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a range of construction skills within a dynamic environment, contributing to the safety and efficiency of building structures. The position requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Duties



Measure, cut, and install insulation materials in accordance with project specifications and schematics. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to secure insulation in walls, ceilings, pipes, and other structural elements. Collaborate with other trades such as roofing, plumbing, electrical, masonry, and carpentry teams to ensure seamless integration of insulation systems. Assist with fabrication and custom fitting of insulation components as needed. Apply construction painting techniques where required for insulation protection or finishing touches. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to accurately execute installation tasks. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Assist in the preparation of surfaces through plastering or masonry work when necessary for insulation installation.

Requirements



Proven experience or training in roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, or general construction is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment. Knowledge of schematics and technical drawings relevant to insulation installation. Familiarity with construction painting techniques and masonry work is advantageous. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces safely. Strong organisational skills with the ability to read technical instructions accurately. Excellent teamwork skills and the capacity to follow detailed safety protocols. Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction trades are preferred but not essential. Pay: 24,420.00-59,826.20 per year
