We are looking for:



An experienced European Operator to join our Dartford team! In this role, you will play a key role in managing services to and from our partners across Europe, acting as the primary point of contact for all associated overseas partners. You will be responsible for the smooth, efficient coordination of Europe-controlled business generated by our internal commercial branches, as well as business managed by our international partners. In this role, you will ensure all assigned services and partner relationships are handled cost-effectively while consistently meeting, and exceeding, customer expectations. We're seeking someone who can bring proven knowledge of European operations and a background in a similar role within the logistics industry. You will have strong communication skills and the confidence to hit the ground running.

What you will be doing:



Act as first point of contact for Europa branch network and overseas partners, escalating issues as required Controlling the arrival of cargo into the hub ensuring the freight is available to be delivered on time. Arranging deliveries with customers (external and internal) and partners to agreed SLA Communicating with customers (external and internal) and partners to manage ongoing relationships Research and understand financials of the service to find more profitable means to operate and making the optimum commercial decisions to reduce real cost Investigate cost saving with COT's/DOT's and routing options - maximising operating efficiency Planning of groupage departures

What you will bring to the role:



A Strong & confident personality Previous experience within transport and logistics in a similar planning role. Time management and communication skills. The ability to prioritise and to pro-actively deal with situations and use initiative. Driven to succeed within the workplace.
