Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Packer to join our Logistics Support team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. Duties

Accurately pick and pack products according to order specifications. Maintain an organised workspace to facilitate efficient packing operations. Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and orders. Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all items meet company standards before shipment. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as required. Engage in heavy lifting as needed, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve efficiency.

Skills

Familiarity with materials handling practices and equipment. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control measures. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift. Experience using warehouse management systems for inventory tracking is preferred.
