Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Administration Assistant to join our team. The key focus of this role is to assist in the day to day administration of our driver and fleet operations at Ferris.

Tasks will include:



Monitoring driver timings and comparing them to the schedule Day-to-day communication with the drivers Day-to-day communication with the clients Monitoring driver expense reporting Checking submitted expense receipts to ensure they are suitable for payroll Checking driver vehicle inspections for quality control Perform driver license checks Work with the operations manager to assist with the initial recruitment stages for new drivers

Excellent customer service skills Excellent administrational skills Knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets Excellent level of spoken and written english Excellent communication skills A professional, organised approach Ability to think quickly Ability to work to strict deadlines Excellent planning skills A flexible way of working Experience of working within logistics preferred

Details



Full-time 26,000-28,000 per annum (depending on experience) 40 hours per week (5 days per week) Working hours are from 09:00 to 18:00 22 days holiday (inc public and bank holidays) Work from home 1-month probation period Notice period 2 weeks Company Pension
