What is the role?
As logistics administrator, you would be responsible for overseeing the company's administrative duties in the supply chain. This includes organizing, managing documents pertaining to goods as well as liaising with companies, manufacturers, and customers.
What you'll do as a Logistics Administrator
  • Managing administrative duties as directed by the supervisor.
  • Assist in planning logistics for warehouses, transportation, and suppliers.
  • Prepare shipping documents.
  • Filing and storing up-to-date documents.
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers, and manufacturers.
  • Liaising with customers about orders and shipping information.
  • Tracking orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Logging data related to logistic administration into the software.
  • Waste Management Recording documentation.
  • Stock control inventory.
What experience do I need?
  • Experience in logistics would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and able to communicate with persons at all levels.
  • Excellent computer literacy with adequate knowledge in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Knowledgeable logistics software.
  • Ability to work in different environments.
