A service orientated business specialising in the inspection, maintenance, and replacement of fire doors.
Continued significant investment has allowed the teams to establish two state-of-the-art manufacturing plants based in the East Midlands. These two bright modern facilities provide over 100,000sqft of manufacturing space and have been designed to include 'all-new' high efficiency processing centres including the latest in CNC engineering, high precision through feed cutting equipment, a revolutionary robotic surface coating system together with the latest in post-forming technology allowing us to wrap both high impact PVC's and laminates to doors and frames alike.
With the capacity to produce 1000+ doorsets per week, the IDSL group of companies is working with major National and Regional contractors as well as key joinery Sub-Contractors to deliver crafted products and services throughout the United Kingdom and beyond.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Logistics Administrator
to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics and supply chain processes
The working hours are 40 hours per week:
06:00 - 14:00 Monday to Friday.
/ Responsibilities:
All operational activities associated with transport management:
In conjunction with production management to plan the delivery or collection of finished goods, as an efficient workflow.
To communicate with customer sites, ensuring feedback is taken on board, dealt with properly and taking responsibility for issue resolution. This includes booking time slots for delivery of goods and possible site visits to evaluate their needs.
Forecasting demand and booking with our third-party delivery suppliers.
Overall responsibility for checking data and pallets to ensure accuracy before printing of customer delivery notes. Ensuring nothing is dispatched without a correct delivery note.
Ensuring the cost-effective packing of finished goods.
Loading of delivery vehicles, ensuring maximisation of pallet space and multiple drops where possible. This includes liaising with your counterpart at the other side for further load maximisation.
Ensuring 'loose' items such as intumescent strip and screws, etc. are picked and packed properly.
To photographically catalogue deliveries.
The stock control and replenishment of packaging materials, including pallets.
All administrational activities, including - processing of purchase orders and approving supplier invoices. Some query resolution may be required.
The continued development and upkeep of systems within the dispatch area. This might include working with other stakeholders for continuous improvement.
Keeping the dispatch/vehicle loading area clean and safe.
In conjunction with the 'Head of Procurement and Supply' to ensure that all processes comply and passes with all relevant customer and 3rd party standards and audits.
Manage shunts from site to site: to aid delivery efficiencies, to ensure paperwork is co-ordinated.
Managed finished good and vested stock locations.
Export, airfreight - sea containers
Supervise goods-in receipt and storage
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a logistics administrator, coordinator, or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics operations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
