Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Logistics Administrator with a background in transport/logistics for a permanent role in small but busy horse transportation business. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of transport operations, preparing and managing documentation, liaising with drivers and customers, maintaining accurate records to support timely deliveries, supporting day-to-day office functions, and acting as a central point of contact for customer enquiries, complaints, and resolutions.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and motivation and drive to help promote and advertise the business, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Acting as the first point of contact for customer queries and quotation requests (phone and email) Liaising with customers to record and confirm bookings and to update customers on delivery location and timeline Billing assistance - confirming payment preference with customers and providing company bank details as required, generating and issuing invoices, tracking payments, and following up with customers for payment as required Data entry - proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience of Monday app desirable. Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, bookings, and customer interactions and preparing run sheets for drivers and export/import documents. Supporting management to promote/advertise business by company website and social media Assisting management to manage and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner Performing general office administration tasks such as filing (paper and e-filing), handling correspondence, and scheduling Assisting to maintain a positive and professional brand image through excellent customer support
Requirements/Skills:

Previous experience in an

administrative role

with a

logistics background

(essential). Experience in

Equine Sector

and in

logistics in both

Ireland and UK

an advantage. Strong experience in

customer facing role

(liaising with customers, recording customer details, securing bookings and payment, managing complaints and resolutions) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment A positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong customer service focus Drive to promote/advertise company (via company website and social media). PR/sales/advertisement experience is desirable.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
