We are looking for a strong and reliable individual to join our Transport team at Marlin Industries, the job requires a good knowledge of administration and office work preferably within a Transport & Logistics environment.
Duties
Attending to calls for Transport Department
Answering goods in door & signing for parcels
Maintaining customer calls calendar to ensure regular contact for orders for inbound goods
Daily creation & searching for more inbound sales
Generation of inbound / outbound orders for Transport Planner to organise
Generation of collections for 3rd party contracts
Administration of closing down completed works
Filing Inspection sheets electronically / manually for Transport Compliance Supervisor
Allocation and administration of work for 15 - 20 drivers daily
Record keeping for drivers paperwork and equipment
Creation of Purchase Orders for Transport Manager & Compliance Supervisor
Creation of customer reports KPI's / OTIF Reports
Experience
Previous experience in logistics administration preferred but not essential
Experience with SAP preferred but not essential
Proven ability in data analysis and process improvement initiatives.
