We are currently recruiting for a workshop assistant to join the Anka team. We are looking for an individual whom will hold their own work to very high standards. Individuals that are flexible, capable and willing to work to tight deadlines. Candidates must be highly motivated, practical and positive to join our team.
Key role and responsibilities:
Delivery driving high end items & bespoke furniture, predominantly to London but all over the UK in our company work van. Packing and wrapping of the goods you will be delivering; goods need to be delicately handled. In charge of keeping goods in/out organized. General cleaning duties of the workshops - sweeping, emptying bins, keeping the yard clean etc. You will be working 2-3 days in the workshop packing/ cleaning & 2-3 days will be delivery driving.
Requirements:
Anka Insurance Policy only covers drivers aged 25 and over, so applicants MUST meet this criteria.
A clean full UK driving license is essential.
Forklift license preferable but not essential.
Experience in similar role preferred.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30 - 17:00, Friday 8:30 - 16:00 Overtime is often available.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
