The successful candidate will work both from our Head Office in Oxford and our storage facilities near Oxford and is responsible for ordering equipment, cataloguing, monitoring, receiving and dispatching resources to multiple sites across the UK and abroad and to ensure that the correct materials are in place for the summer school programme. The role is very busy and varied, and acts as the backbone of the summer school, providing the initial and essential setup, that allows campuses to thrive.

Pre Summer
To complete a full Health & Safety Training program prior to commencing Warehouse work
Establishing the requirements for each site and each course, creating accurate spreadsheets
Updating stock lists of our storage units and manage the facilities / vehicle
Place orders for new stock and managing the budget and PO system
Planning for stock delivery to the staging area or directly to the site
Recruiting and managing a support team of up to 5 people
Ensuring that all support team are fully trained and supported appropriately (H&S/PPE)
Managing a team to complete the packing lists for each site ready to be deployed
Organising the delivery timetable and sign off process
Ensuring the team is working effectively whilst maintaining health and safety and ensuring legal compliance at all time

Troubleshooting issues throughout the summer and organising refresher deliveries
Ensuring that the company vehicle & storage areas are maintained with issues reported

Coordinating the return of materials to our storage unit
Ensuring that all materials are catalogued, counted & documented at the end of the summer
Person Specification

Comfortable working in warehouse environments and physically able to lift heavy loads as required / working at height
Highly organised individual
Comfortable working with spreadsheets and data entry (Google sheets)
Able to manage a budget
Experience leading a team, managing workload and ensuring delivery against goals is essential
Observes & manages Health & Safety protocols at all times
Clean UK driving license and access to a vehicle

Desirable Requirements
Experience of working in a warehouse or storage facility
Possible relevant experience might include work in operations for events or hospitality, theatre industries, or a production team for TV/film. Relevant experience will be looked upon favourably, although it is not essential.
