Logistics Business Controller

Job Description
Carbon60 are seeking an experienced Logistics Business Controller to join their clients dynamic team within a leading aerospace environment based in Broughton. This position is a contract position running until December 2026.
As this is a contract role, we have both PAYEE and Umbrella rates available. This position offers full time hours of 35 hours per week. There is a hybrid option available once you are settled into the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning and forecasting, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Develop and maintain multi-year financial targets and models.
- Produce accurate financial reports and analyse performance deviations.
- Identify cost optimisation opportunities and monitor savings initiatives.
- Support execution through resource reviews, headcount targets, and cost reallocation.
- Approve and audit purchase orders, commitments, and accruals.
- Strong finance knowledge with experience in financial reporting and governance.
- Background in logistics or operational environments.
- Ability to analyse complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience in process improvement within a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
