Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about keeping operations running smoothly? Were looking for a Logistics Controller to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in managing stock flow, supporting logistics operations, and driving compliance and efficiency across our supply chain.

What you will be doing




As a Logistics Co-Ordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting the efficient movement of stock, equipment, and materials across the business. Working closely with our operations and admin teams, your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating transportation and deliveries to and from engineers, sites, and stores (e.g., FedEx, van stock). Managing stock replenishment for engineers and maintaining branch stock levels. Processing goods received on Simpro and updating job statuses accordingly. Overseeing returns from sites and stores, including project job stock. Ordering consumables, uniforms, and other materials as needed. Creating purchase orders for materials collected by engineers. Liaising with suppliers to secure the best prices and update Simpro records. Monitoring and reviewing courier and freight costs to drive savings. Logging surplus stock and project returns for future reuse. Arranging annual checks for safety equipment and coordinating with testing companies. Supporting compliance activities and contributing to process improvements. Conducting regular stock takes and audits, and reporting findings. Liaising with waste management companies for proper disposal of WEEE and confidential waste.

You'll also support internal teams by providing accurate information, helping solve logistical challenges, and ensuring our operations stay cost-effective and efficient.

Who we are looking for




Were seeking someone who is:

Organised & Detail-Oriented: You can manage multiple tasks and keep track of stock, systems, and shipments with precision. Proactive & Problem-Solving: You take initiative, spot potential issues before they arise, and suggest smart solutions. A Strong Communicator: You're comfortable liaising with engineers, suppliers, and internal teams - both over the phone and in writing. Tech-Savvy: You're confident using software systems (ideally Simpro) and Microsoft Office. Team-Focused but Independent: You work well in a team but can manage your own workload effectively. Experienced: You have a background in logistics or operations, ideally with a customer service component.
