As Logistics Coordinator, you'll manage day-to-day freight forwarding operations - from quoting and booking shipments to coordinating transport movements and customs processes. The role is office-based in Irlam and offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact within an experienced logistics team.
Key Responsibilities:
Process import and export customs clearances using the CDS system
Prepare and manage shipping documentation and coordinate with hauliers
Plan and monitor inbound and outbound deliveries to ensure on-time performance
Maintain accurate logistics records and resolve customer queries swiftly
Collaborate across production, procurement, and sales to align shipping schedules
Monitor logistics non-conformance and support continuous improvement initiatives
What You'll Bring:
Solid experience in logistics or freight forwarding
Working knowledge of the Customs Declaration Service (CDS)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Effective communicator and proactive team player
Experience with Microsoft Office; ADR knowledge desirable
