About the role
Be part of this 'once in a generation' project that will deliver clean energy to 6 million homes for the next 60 years. Sizewell C will see the creation of a 3.2 Gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast to provide reliable load low-carbon electricity.
The Civil Works Alliance is an extended delivery enterprise involving Sizewell C and three international construction companies: Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O'Rourke.

What you'll be doing
The Logistics Coordinator will support the Logistics Control Tower in monitoring, verifying, and managing critical logistics activities across the project. This role ensures that contractor forecasts are validated, resources are tracked, and on-site logistics processes run smoothly in compliance with project requirements.

  • Assist the Control Tower in checking and validating contractor forecasts for critical resources
(materials, AILs, water, diesel, cabins, etc.).
  • Monitor real-time deliveries and ensure that planned slots are being used effectively.
  • Visit site areas to verify the status of storage, critical deliveries, and logistics bottlenecks, reporting
back to the Control Tower.
  • Support the allocation and coordination of delivery slots via the Delivery Management System
(DMS).
  • Track daily progress of critical resources, escalating risks or delays to the Logistics Control Tower
Manager.
  • Maintain up-to-date trackers for AIL deliveries, bulk materials, and storage capacity.
  • Liaise with contractors and marshals to ensure delivery compliance with routing, safety, and security requirements.
  • Support the preparation of weekly reports and dashboards on logistics performance.
  • Assist in enforcing contractor compliance with forecast submissions and logistics procedures.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes by identifying issues and suggesting
solutions.
Who we're looking for
Knowledge & Skills
  • Experience in logistics, site coordination, or supply chain operations (construction project experience
desirable).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and report on multiple resources.
  • Confident communicator able to engage with contractors, site teams, and the Logistics Control
Tower.
  • Familiarity with logistics systems (e.g., DMS) is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of health, safety, and compliance requirements.
