About the role





As a Logistics Coordinator in

St Ives (Cambs)

, you will prepare and execute

global shipments by road, sea, and air

(all markets

except UK & France

), ensuring customers receive orders

on time, in full

. You'll collaborate daily with Production and Customer Service, create compliant shipping and invoicing documentation, and keep meticulous export records. You'll join a

small, supportive on-site team

and report to

Logistics Team Leader, Sarah Kelsey

. The role will be

Hybrid

in St Ives; initial period likely

5 days/week on site

for onboarding, then transition to hybrid (typically

3 days office / 2 days from home

, subject to team coverage).

What you'll do



Prioritise daily shipments with

Production & Customer Service

. Produce

shipping documents

,

Dangerous Goods declarations

, and

commercial invoices

in line with export controls and customer deadlines. Book and coordinate

carriers/forwarders

; consolidate loads when appropriate; follow up on

proof of export

. Prepare

certified/legalised

docs with Chambers of Commerce; maintain accurate files to meet

customs & excise/export-compliance

requirements. Provide team cover as needed and collaborate cross-functionally to remove blockers.

The essential requirements of the job include:



2+ years' experience

in international shipping/logistics (export documents, carriers, customs basics). Strong

attention to detail

, organisation, and customer focus; ability to work independently and as part of a team. Solid

MS Office

skills (Excel/Outlook) and comfort learning internal systems.

Right to work in the UK

(no sponsorship).

Nice to have:



Knowledge/qualifications in

IATA (air), ADR (road), IMDG (sea)

for Dangerous Goods (DG). If you know the acronyms and how they apply, tell us--otherwise,

we can train you

. Experience with

certified/legalised

documents and Chamber of Commerce processes. Familiarity with

export controls, Incoterms

, HMRC customs records, or TMS/ERP tools.

Being available to start as soon as possible

is a plus.
