Logistics Coordinator (Temporary)
Location: Cambridge
Contract: 6-month temporary assignment
Hours: Full-time, on-site
Pay: 16-18 per hour + holiday pay
Robert Half is recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation based in Cambridge for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team on a 6-month temporary contract. This is a full-time, on-site role offering a varied and hands-on workload within a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinating operational processes and maintaining accurate business documentation
Managing product deliveries, logistics administration, and export-related documentation
Supporting quality standards through process improvement and the introduction of new procedures
Liaising with the finance team to manage and track purchase orders
Assisting with health and safety administration, including maintaining chemical safety records
Providing general office and administrative support across the business
Overseeing day-to-day administrative activities and supporting junior administrative staff
Offering operational and administrative support to senior stakeholders as required
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience coordinating domestic and international shipments, including preparation of shipping documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational ability with high attention to detail
Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Desirable Skills
Experience working with electronic document management or filing systems
Knowledge of health and safety regulations within an office or operational environment
