Are you an experienced logistics or HGV driver with a strong track record in safely transporting goods? Are you looking for an exciting new role within a leading company that prides itself on excellent staff retention, first-class training and genuine development opportunities?
Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a Logistics Driver to join their expanding team, operating out of their modern depot in Clacton-On-Sea. The successful applicant will have the chance to work on a wide range of delivery routes across the UK, liaising closely with the transport, warehouse and customer service teams. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and timely delivery of goods to clients across multiple sectors including construction, manufacturing, retail and commercial services. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing logistics team with a strong history of promoting from within-senior and supervisory roles are available for those who want to progress.

The Role:

• Safely transporting goods to customers across regional and national routes
• Carrying out vehicle checks, loading/unloading and completing delivery documentation
• Providing excellent customer service and representing the business professionally on-site
• Liaising with transport planners and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations

The Candidate:

• Previous experience in a logistics, HGV, van or multi-drop driving role
• Valid UK driving licence (HGV Class 1 or 2)
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
• A commutable distance to Clacton-On-Sea
