Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, reliable and professional van driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for looking after stores, ensuring stock is well managed, and delivering materials and plant equipment to various sites across the UK. A background in commercial driving and warehouse operations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Safely drive and operate company vans to deliver materials and plant to sites nationwide. Adhere to company policies, road safety laws, and site-specific regulations. Manage and maintain stores, ensuring stock levels are monitored and kept in order. Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment in line with health and safety standards. Carry out basic vehicle checks to ensure the van is roadworthy and well maintained. Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with site teams and clients.

Documentation

Valid UK driving licence (clean licence preferred). Previous experience as a van driver (experience in construction/materials delivery is advantageous). Good organisational and communication skills. Ability to handle manual lifting when loading/unloading. Flexibility to travel nationwide and occasionally work unsociable hours.
