Our client develops and manufactures bespoke electrochemical analysers, Karl Fisher titrators and gas chromatography instruments used within the oil & gas sector.
As part of their ongoing growth, we're recruiting for a Logistics & Export Manager to strengthen internal logistics capability and ensure consistent, compliant handling of both UK and international shipments.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Creating order confirmations and commercial documentation for UK and international shipments
- Preparing and verifying Dangerous Goods documentation and ensuring correct labelling
- Coordinating import and export shipments with freight forwarders and logistics partners
- Working with the Chamber of Commerce to obtain export documentation
- Managing Letters of Credit and Cash Against Documents payments when necessary
- Liaising with European partners on import and drop-ship requirements
- Maintaining accurate shipment records within the company CRM
- Supporting general transport and logistics activities as required
- Previous experience in logistics and export operations
- Familiar with international shipping documentation and trade processes
- Experience handling Dangerous Goods or are keen to formalise this through certification
- Comfortable working office-based, five days per week
