Stores & Logistics Technician
to join our team and play a key role in supporting scientific operations behind the scenes.
What You'll Be Doing:
Receiving and storing deliveries in compliance with temperature and location protocols
Managing stock consumption, placing orders, and conducting inventory counts
Providing reliable, helpful counter service for internal customers
Safely collecting and storing hazardous waste
Coordinating sample dispatches under ADR regulations
Distributing dry ice and maintaining supply
Transporting and replacing laboratory gas cylinders
Filling and moving liquid nitrogen vessels
Operating forklift trucks (if certified)
Upholding a clean, safe, and compliant storage environment
Supporting the wider business with ad hoc requests that add real value
Additional Responsibilities:
Executing administrative tasks with accuracy and organization
Assisting with inventory tracking, audits, and reporting using stock management systems
Learning and applying safe handling protocols for sensitive materials
Managing multiple tasks effectively while adapting to changing priorities
What You Bring:
Proven experience in logistics, inventory management, or a related administrative role
Strong multitasking abilities and a structured, reliable approach to work
Solid understanding of MS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail and a commitment to safe practices
A collaborative mindset and exceptional customer service focus
Desirable: FLT license, ADR certification, and Gas Safe training
