Job Description

As Logistics Manager - 3PL you will manage and optimise 3PL relationships (on-site) across warehousing, fulfilment, and transport to ensure cost-efficient, scalable logistics operations for a fast-growing FMCG business. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement, oversee budgets and KPIs, and act as the key link between internal teams and logistics providers.
Reporting to the Fulfilment Manager, the Logistics Manager - 3PL will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end relationship with third-party logistics providers, ensuring best-in-class service, cost efficiency, and scalability as the business continues its growth trajectory.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing day-to-day performance of 3PL partners across warehousing, fulfilment, and transportation.
• Developing and monitoring KPIs to drive operational excellence and service improvements.
• Managing logistics budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising service.
• Leading continuous improvement projects to optimise supply chain processes.
• Acting as the main point of contact between internal stakeholders and logistics providers.
• Supporting international expansion through scalable and flexible logistics solutions.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Must be immediately available - Initial 3 month rolePrevious 3PL management experience is required
The ideal Logistics Manager - 3PL will be based in Colchester on site with the 3PL partner and will have the following skillset:

• Proven experience in managing 3PL relationships within an FMCG or consumer goods environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in logistics budgeting and contract management.
• A track record of driving operational improvements and delivering cost efficiencies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Immediately available to start 3 month contract
