We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager. Based in a warehouse facility in Hull.
The role requires a high level of people management skills, awareness, operational excellence and collaborative approach to a large team.
Pay is 140 (Plus VAT) per day.

Reporting to the Area Manager:
As the Logistics Manager, your duties will include:
Managing all functions of an outbound parcel delivery operation on a daily basis. Overseeing the management of a team of 60 -90 drivers on a day-to-day basis Overseeing the running of a small fleet of vans KPIs and targets remain on target Appraisal and performance process for all drivers Mentoring, coaching and developing drivers to create an agile responsive workforce and ensure succession pipeline is maintained Creating and implementing Continuous Improvement / lean practices Managing a 5-6 day rota for drivers
To be a successful Logistics Manager, you will have the following skills and experience:
Proven track record of
managing
a team of multiple drivers. Solidwork experience
in implementing continuous improvements initiatives in a workplace. Strongleadership
and negotiation skills Excellentrelationship
builder Attention to detail GoodIT skills
: Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Outlook) Positive outlook, resilient, good communicator andteam worker
Licences holderThis is a Self employed job,
you will be working 5 to 6 days, weekly pay & bonus is given if KPIs are met.The Logistics Manager will be working with some flexibility needed for busy / peak periods.
