We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Logistics Manager to lead and optimise our logistics and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods across our supply network.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and oversee logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
Coordinate domestic shipments, ensuring compliance with company standards.
Work closely with suppliers, manufacturing partners, and logistics providers to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, carriers, and freight forwarders.
Develop logistics strategies to support growth in bakery industry segments (industrial, HoReCa, institutional, and home baking).
Monitor KPIs and logistics performance metrics; identify and implement process improvements.
Oversee warehouse efficiency, stock levels, and product integrity during storage and distribution.
Collaborate with sales, procurement, and production teams to forecast demand and align logistics capabilities.
Requirements
Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or distribution.
Strong knowledge of UK and European logistics regulations, customs, and documentation.
Experience with ERP and inventory management systems.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-market environment
