Red Arrow Distribution are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Manager to oversee and enhance our courier contracts with some of the nations largest delivery companies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing logistics processes, managing a team of drivers, and fleet management. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to improving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Lead a team of drivers across multiple contracts. Grow the business with ventures into new contracts. Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure timely delivery of products. Analyse data to identify trends and make informed decisions regarding logistics operations. Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards in all logistics activities. Lead and mentor the logistics team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar role within supply chain management. People person - key part of the role is growing and expanding to other contracts. Strong understanding of logistics processes, inventory management, and transportation systems. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for data-driven decision-making. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
We will be holding in person interviews for the position. Please note we are a fairly new company 2 years operating. The role is currently served on a self employed basis like much of the sector. However this is changeable in the future.

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: 130.00-150.00 per day
