Description Logistics Manager
This transformational role will put the foundations in place for updating the entire Logistics function across a hi-tech manufacturing organisation. The business are the world leaders in their niche field with products being sold globally across a range of different industries.
Managing a team of circa 10 we are looking for a leader who thrives on improving and introducing new processes at a fast pace. You will help to ensure a smooth transition as they transfer an entire product range from a different site to the Southampton facility.
You will need to strategically plan and manage all Logistics, shipping, warehouse and materials management working on updating all systems across the business.
This is a great role for someone who has the energy and experience to make big changes which will then be used by the business for many years to come.
For this role we are looking for:
Experience of working as a Logistics manager ideally within manufacturing but can be flexible on industry.
A good appreciation of international shipping standards.
Strong IT skills.
