The Procurement Department undertakes the responsibility of providing a service to University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation. Procurement provide on effective and professional procurement service delivering ongoing cost efficiencies and benefits in line with Trust and customer objectives. The post holder will be a member of the Procurement and Logistics team and will be required to adopt a flexible approach towards any procurement activities. Posts at this level contain a range of tasks, some of, which require the exercise of initiative, although operating within broad procedural guidelines. The post requires a degree of independent judgement. The post holder will deal with operational purchase orders, quotations and low value contracts, ensuring the Trust's SFI's are maintained at all times.
