We are seeking a proactive and adaptable

Logistics Operations Coordinator

to bridge the gap between our office and our warehouse. This is a unique "hybrid" role designed for someone who enjoys the variety of managing client relationships at a desk while being fully capable of stepping into the warehouse to operate machinery and handle physical inventory.


You will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring their import shipments and orders are processed accurately in the system and then physically handled through the warehouse to the very highest levels of customer services via our warehouse team.

Location:

Felixstowe & Ipswich (Covering two office/warehouse locations)

Shift:

Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

Responsibilities:



Customer Account Management (Office - 50%)



Client Liaison:

Act as the dedicated point of contact for VIP assigned accounts, handling customer requirements via phone and email

Order Processing:

Enter and manage orders within the company's bespoke software. You will have end-to-end ownership of the customer journey including invoicing

Stock Reporting:

Generate stock reports for clients and investigate any discrepancies

Problem Solving:

Resolve shipping delays, transit damages, or documentation errors promptly to maintain high client satisfaction

Warehouse Liaison:

You will work closely with the existing full time warehouse team to ensure customer accounts are managed and handled to the highest level of customer satisfaction

Warehouse & Logistics Operations (Warehouse - 50%)



Forklift Operation:

Safely operate Counterbalance forklifts to load/unload containers, curtain side vehicles and rack pallets

Manual Handling:

Physical work picking orders, stock checks and container unloads

Inbound Logistics:

Receive goods, check for damages, and perform "put-away" tasks into the correct locations

Compliance:

Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, adhering to all Health & Safety (H&S) protocols

Qualifications & Skills:



Essential



Valid Forklift License (Counterbalance or Reach) 2+ years in a logistics or warehouse environment Comfortable with tasks that involve lifting (up to 25kg) and periods of standing, with appropriate equipment and support provided Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Outlook) Ability to switch "modes" quickly between physical labour and professional office tasks

Desirable



Multi-directional or VNA license. Previous experience in a hybrid office/warehouse role Previous handball experience Experience with WMS software Strong conflict-resolution skills
