Logistics Operative

to join our well-established and expanding team based at our AMS branch in Derby.

About the role:

We are seeking a reliable, motivated and hands-on logistics operative to join our busy Logistics team at AMS Derby. This is a full-time, permanent role ideal for someone who has key attention to detail and a positive team player attitude.


As our

Logistics Operative

you will be working in a busy distribution environment, providing support to the team, picking, checking and packing orders.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, working 40 hours per week

Key responsibilities as our Logistics Operative will include:

Receive, inspect, and distribute incoming goods. Use our internal computer system to book in/out deliveries. Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch. Stock checking. Regularly replenish in house stores. Keep warehouse and working areas clean, tidy, and compliant with H&S procedure. Load and unload delivery vehicles using forklifts (if qualified).

Skills we're looking for in our Logistics Operative:

Strong work ethic and a positive, team-player attitude. Reliable and punctual, with a proactive approach to tasks. Computer literacy. Good communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required. Ability to lift and move items safely. Experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment (desirable). FLT license (desirable).
