Logistics Operative - Forklift Truck Driver

The responsibility of Logistics Operative is to work primarily in the logistics department and conduct all duties in a timely, efficient manner.

A Forklift Truck License Is Required For This Position!

Responsibilities and Duties:



Conduct all duties accustomed with goods in and goods out - unloading, loading, storing and organising goods Check delivery notes and appropriate documentation before any delivery is offloaded, checking for damaged, incorrect or missing items Palletise, label and prepare orders for dispatch Load and unload goods, products and materials Store goods appropriately and safely Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck, keeping materials stocked up in the appropriate locations for use by production Support the department in carrying out stock counts as and when required Be physical and manual, with the ability to work within a fast paced manufacturing environment. Keep areas of work clean, organised and tidy to ensure operational efficiency Make recommendations of improvements to aid efficiency and add value to the department Ensure that the forklift is inspected daily for maintenance purposes and inspections are recorded Ensure workspaces, the yard and factory areas are kept organised and tidy, with the 'tidy as you go' mentality Undertake any other tasks as and when required to fulfil the demands of this role Support and work with the production team to conduct any other duties, as and when requested by management Delivering to suppliers and customers as and when requried.

Skills and Qualifications & Certifications Required:



Qualifications with relevance to this role would be preferred

Valid Forklift Truck Counterbalance License

Salary:

From 12.21 per hour (Weekly Pay)

Shift:

Monday to Friday 42.5 hours between the hours of 6am - 6pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
