You will play a pivotal role in providing and maintaining a first class delivery/collection service to tenants and internal departments, performing a complete Goods Inwards function to meet the requirements of a dynamic site logistics and delivery service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In this role, your essential responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Package Receipts
: Accurate checking of inbound/outbound packages and goods. Reporting of damaged packages when required.
Package Management:
Effective and timely delivery/shipment of all packages and goods across site.
Documentation:
Accurate input of package data onto spreadsheets.
Customer Liaison:
Effective and timely responses and solutions to tenant and staff enquiries. Follow up enquiries as required.
Flexibility
: Work across multiple site locations delivering excellent customer service.
General:
Provide limited cover to the Estates Manager as required.
Flexibility and the ability to prioritise efficiently will be crucial for success in this role. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This includes being self-motivated and capable of managing your own tasks and deadlines, while also being able to collaborate with colleagues, tenants and external couriers, contribute to team goals and communicate effectively within the group. Balancing these skills will enable you to adapt to various priorities and responsibilities, ultimately leading to successful outcomes.
The Logistics Operative's core working hours are as follows:
40 hours per week, worked 08:00 To 17:00 Monday to Friday
Accumulative 1 hour unpaid breaks broken down as agreed with management based on a full working day.
Average of 40hrs per week - work annualised.
Essential Person Specification
Documentation:
Keeping detailed records of inbound and outbound packages and goods.
Strength and Endurance:
This role requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of loads up to 100kg. It also involves repeated climbing and descending of stairs and standing for long periods as part of normal daily activities.
Troubleshooting and Adaptability:
Ability to diagnose issues and determine effective solutions. Capacity to handle unexpected problems and adjust plans as needed.
Prioritisation:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work effectively.
Knowledge of Safety Protocols:
Experience and understanding of adhering to safety regulations, procedures, and best practice.
Collaboration:
Working well with tenants, staff, external couriers and management.
Flexibility:
Willingness to assist others as required and meet changeable deadlines.

Ability to address tenant and staff enquiries promptly and effectively.
