We are a growing utility company, carrying out essential utility works across the Torbay area. We are looking for a

Logistics Pickup Driver

to join our team and support our daily site operations.

The Role

As our Logistics Pickup Driver, you will play a vital part in keeping our projects running smoothly. Your duties will include:

Working closely with our

Team Leaders

and supporting the wider team with all site logistics needs Collecting and delivering tools, materials, and hired-in plant equipment between depots and job sites Assisting in the setup and pack-down of job sites, including: Building barrier compounds Moving barriers and road signage Helping create safe and compliant work zones Maintaining the

general tidiness and safety

of sites Removing

scrap pipework and waste materials

from sites Taking

site photos

to support compliance and record-keeping Supporting site teams with timely drop-offs and pickups Carrying out vehicle checks Ensuring safe loading/unloading and compliance with Health & Safety standards

Working Hours & Pay

Standard hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

(finish times may vary due to the nature of the job)

Weekend work available

if wanted (paid at the same day rate)

Salary:

Competitive,

negotiable depending on experience and qualifications

Payments are made through the CIS (Construction Industry Scheme)

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Over 21 years old

(for insurance purposes) Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Able to work flexibly in a busy environment Physically capable of manual handling tasks (barriers, signage, pipework, site setup) Comfortable driving vans and small plant transport (towing experience an advantage) Holder of a

full UK driving licence

(clean preferred) Confident working independently and able to carry out daily risk assessments for any tasks given
The following would be an advantage but are

Streetworks qualifications Previous industry experience
