Job Overview


The Munnelly Group is a leading UK construction and infrastructure support services group and are parent company to 8 businesses. We are seeking proactive and detail-oriented Construction Logistics Planners to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics activities on our construction projects nationwide. The ideal candidate will ensure materials, equipment, and personnel are delivered and managed on-site efficiently, safely, and whilst supporting the overall construction logistics strategy.

We have roles on fixed term contracts that could be made permanent. The successful candidate needs to be open to working away however accommodation will be paid for.

Duties



Develop logistics plans to support construction schedules, including delivery schedules, storage areas, and material handling routes. Coordinate deliveries and manage site access to ensure timely and efficient movement of materials and equipment. Build and develop the construction logistics strategy Communicate and coordinate with clients and site staff to resolve any issues related to logistics operations. Ensure logistics operations comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Coordinate site logistics activities in line with site-specific risk assessments and method statements. Promote best practices in sustainability (e.g., waste management) Act as the central point of contact for logistics-related issues. Resolve logistical conflicts or delays on-site quickly. Communicate logistics protocols to all contractors and subcontractors.

Qualifications



Proven experience in construction logistics, site coordination, or a similar role. Strong understanding of construction site operations and sequencing. Strong ability to create construction logistics strategies. Knowledge of logistics software and tools is an advantage. Familiarity with traffic management and permitting processes. Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project needs.
