We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Security Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our logistics operations, including the protection of assets, personnel, and information. You will monitor and assess security risks and implement effective strategies to mitigate them. Key responsibilities include conducting regular security audits, reviewing and maintaining security protocols, and collaborating with local law enforcement and emergency services to ensure a rapid response to incidents. Additionally, you will be tasked with overseeing the security of transportation routes, storage facilities, and distribution centers, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent observational skills and a strong understanding of logistics and security practices. A minimum of 3 years of experience in security management or a related field is required, along with a background in logistics or supply chain operations. A valid security certification and a comprehensive knowledge of surveillance systems, access control, and emergency response protocols are essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be necessary to effectively coordinate with various departments and stakeholders.
