Job Description

As a Logistics Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for monitoring and protecting goods, staff, and premises across our distribution centers and transport routes. Your duties will include conducting regular patrols, inspecting vehicles and cargo, managing access control for staff and visitors, and overseeing the implementation of security protocols. You will work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to identify potential security risks and respond to incidents effectively, including theft, unauthorized access, or safety breaches.
To succeed in this role, you should have prior experience in security, preferably within a logistics, warehouse, or transportation environment. A keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. You will be expected to maintain accurate records of incidents and security checks, report suspicious activities, and liaise with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Familiarity with CCTV systems, alarm responses, and electronic access control systems is highly desirable. Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, and a valid security license or relevant certification are required.
