Logistics Support Operative

As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Logistics Support Operative to join our Infrastructure Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are looking for a reliable, flexible and committed Logistics Support Operative to join our Geotechnical team. As a member of Geotechnical Team, it is key that you are able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as independently. While you may be performing the same array of tests day to day, the projects you undertake and the locations you are working from will constantly change, meaning no two days will be the same.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

• Track soil and rock samples and dispose of untested samples
• Take direction on everyday tasks from the Contracts Coordinator and Project Manager(s)
• Take part in monthly stocktake
• Abide by and contribute to all applicable Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS)
• Be prepared to travel for mobilisation / demobilisation of site works
• General housekeeping of the yard and warehouse

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

• 2.5t Counterbalance forklift licence
• Full, clean, UK driving licence
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic IT skills - including basic understanding of Excel
