Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Associate to join our dynamic team at SDL Car Parts, located in the North Midlands. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring efficient logistics operations that support our mission of delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

Manage transportation logistics to ensure timely deliveries. Oversee warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving processes. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and optimize storage. Collaborate with team members to improve logistics processes. Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory levels. Coordinate with suppliers and third-party logistics providers (3PL). Ensure compliance with safety regulations within the warehouse environment. Assist in training new staff on logistics procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience in logistics or warehouse operations. Strong knowledge of transportation management systems and supply chain processes. Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Data analysis skills for tracking performance metrics.
