Logistics Warehouse Operative

with earnings of 13.42 per hour (rising to 14.85 after 12 months), inclusive of shift allowance. With an additional attendance bonus accrued at 45 per month (540 per year), Payable in December

Roles and Responsibilities

Key Roles:

Understanding the importance of warehouse safety and environmental issues

Operating all warehouse equipment and machinery in a safe manner - counterbalance / reach trucks, Forklift trucks, scissor lifts

Completing daily machine safety checks

Taking deliveries and completing quality checks of incoming goods

Storing goods and moving stock in the warehouse through various methods

Picking and packing orders

Operating the warehouse management system

Loading goods for dispatch

Undertaking stock counts

Assisting with customer returns

Cleaning / supporting the maintenance of high-level housekeeping standards

FLT licence (essentia)l - Bendi Licence (desirable)

Experience working with chemicals advantageous

Holidays:

23 days annual leave plus bank holidays which will increase after 2 years' service by one day per year, up to a maximum of 27 days plus bank holidays.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week.

Please note this position is for a split shift on alternative weeks

. Monday to Thursday 6am-2pm and then 2pm - 10pm. Friday 6am - 12pm and then 12pm - 6pm

This is a permanent position based in Flint, North Wales.
